The rankings were determined using these six factors:

  • Unemployment
  • Hours Worked
  • Commute Times
  • Population Density
  • Home Price to Income Ratio
  • Percent of Uninsured Population

With a population of 88,537, Norwalk is considered the most stressed city in Connecticut and ranks at number 12 on the list of most stressed cities. For more information, click here.

The most stressed cities in the country include West New York, New Jersey; Huron, California; South Miami, Florida; Glassmanor, Maryland and Edgewater, Colorado.
